After the first part, where we presented a general description of the nature of the land, the inhabitants and the climate in Mongolia , we planned to visit certain provinces all over the vast Mongolian map. We visited the Khovsgol lake and forests in the north, where we met the Tsaatan tribe , who are famous for herding reindeer. The film also includes a visit to the Gobi desert , located between Mongolia and China and famous for the Bactrian camel .There we followed falconry campaigns and ways of dealing with falcons. Finally the film shows our visit to the Mongolian west and a minority in the Mongol society called the Kazakhs who are famous for taming eagles and using them in hunting foxes and wolves. |
