| Masters of the Horizon presents a historical background about hunting by the birds of prey in the Arabian desert and a documentation of contemporary hunters in the Gulf, who still practice that type of hunting. Hunting by birds of prey is considered a human and a global heritage .It is practiced in more than 68 countries worldwide and dates back to 5000 years ago. It is worth mentioning that the film documents the heritage of hunting by the birds of prey by the Arabs and also by the Kazakhs in central Asia in addition to the modern ways of hunting practiced by the birds of prey by European hunters. This documentary was filmed in many Arab , Asian and European countries to capture the details , types and roots of this side of the human heritage which fascinates people and pass from one generation to another, regardless of any political , national 0r religious differences and beyond all borders or distances to create a common tie between cultures , civilizations and races. |
